VM Ybor Affordable Housing Project Featured on Tampa Bay Developer

From @tampabaydeveloper

This infill urban development is exactly the type of development that will revitalize our city. It incorporates affordable housing, street facing amenities like walk-up units, and ground floor commercial space.

The development, located at 2914 Nebraska Avenue, has been approved by The Barrio Latino Commission and the City of Tampa.

The developer, Urban ReWorx @urbanreworx, will introduce 20 residential units, with a focus on providing affordable housing options that align with Tampa’s growing need for attainable urban living.

The project is designed to complement the historic character of VM Ybor, incorporating architectural elements that respect the neighborhood’s unique aesthetic while offering modern, efficient living spaces. The development is expected to enhance the Nebraska Avenue corridor, serving as a major milestone in the area’s revitalization efforts.

“This project represents a significant step in expanding quality, affordable housing while preserving the architectural integrity of VM Ybor”, said Miguel Gonzalez, a representative of Urban ReWorx. “We are excited to move forward with a design that contributes to the neighborhood’s future while respecting its past.”

If the City of Tampa wants to promote housing affordability, walkable neighborhoods, and good development…this is one to get excited for.
